    Hello!

We noticed that it was possible to create multiple items with the same Definition IDs. We could do this through the Portal page or through the API. I wasn't sure if Portal Defects was the correct place for this issue so please advise of a better forum if one exists.

    Example:

Is this by design? Is there something we need to do to ensure uniqueness of the definition ids?

    More info:
When we query by definition ID, we receive the first item in the list. When we query by Page, the response includes all of the duplicate definition IDs.

    Thanks!
    Chris

    Hey Chris,

Turns out that there was a unique index rule that hadn't been applied to your instance. That's been fixed now - and we've confirmed that all the other indexes are up-to-date as well.

Apologies for that - you should be good to go now.

    Paul.

    Hi Chris,

Thanks for reporting this. It certainly shouldn't be possible - we'll get the devs to look into it asap.

    Paul.
